Who are Wacapella?

Wacapella is a choir of women who love to sing unaccompanied harmony

Where and when?

We meet at The Warehouse Theatre, Hope Street, Weymouth DT4 8TU on Fridays 11am - 12.30

Cost?

Subs are £5 a session, payable half-termly

What kind of music?

We sing in 3 or 4 part harmony and enjoy American roots, Beatles, Ali Burns, South African gospel, Shape-note, folk, pop, west gallery....

How to join?

To join Wacapella you need to be able to hold a tune, and either be able to read music  or willing to record the musical director (eg on a phone) demonstrating how something goes, and then practice it at home. (Or both!)

The musical director is Juliet Harwood, who also runs The Quangle Wangle Choir and The Live Wire Choir
